Lately reconstructed one room studio apartment for max. 2 guests - on the second floor of an apartment building with elevator in the hearth of the City, very closed to the Blaha Lujza tér Square, in walking distance to the big synagogue.

Location: this apartment is located in the Dohány Street, closed to the Blaha lujza tér Place, one of the most frequented places in the hearth of Budapest with metro (red line N° 2), street car and bus lin crossing. Every house in this area has some shops downstairs from the street. The downtown pedestrian walkway is only 400 meters away and the Eastern Railway Station, where the trains from western countries end in Budapest, is just one metro station away.

Apartment: two single bed for max. 2 guests, may be put together to a double bed. With new furnitures basicly equipped apartment for comfortable living. Wardrobe, Bookshelf, bar table for two, tv cabinet,

Internet: we rent a mobile modem as explained below, but there is also an internet café downstairs at the house entrance.

Kitchen: small, fully fitted kitchen with a gas stove, refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster etc. With tableware, cutlery, pots and pans well equipped kitchen.

Bathroom: bath tube, toilet, washing mashine.

Further equipment: iron, broom, vaquum cleaner

Daytime you ought to pull a parking ticket in this busy area. There is a 24/7 guarded parking lot at the neighbouring property at the corner of Klauzál utca street.

The video rights was made about 200 meters away from the house at the bus stop - right before the entry to the underground railway, N° 2, station "Blaha Lujza tér".

Public transportation: best connection in every directions of the City. Blaha Lujza tér Place is one of the most frequented places in the hearth of Budapest, where metro (red line N° 2), street car and bus lines crossing. The street car N° 4 and 6 go through the whole City in North-south direction and some bus and tramway lines go in many directions. from this busy part of the City.

Deposit: 100,- Euro deposit for taking precautions against damages in the apartment. This will be usually paid back fully, if there is no havary untill the guests leave the apartment. This caution deposit is nessessery, to ensure you won´t take the keys with, after living the apartment.

Because we are in Budapest, you can ask and tell us more about your yourney.	We check your inquiry and see if the desired apartment is free for the time of your desired journey. If free, we will send you the quota. If not free, we will try to send you a quota for an alternative apartment, referring to your data information. To do so, it is useful to know as many as possible from the reason of your journey.	You fix the reservation by making a pay down by money transfer. After we recognised your pay down, we will send an apartment voucher with all necessary data you need to occupy the apartment and receive the keys, such as contact person, address & contact address to make your date with landlord. Your reservation fee will be fully included in the final calculation.
We do not keep personal data and never give it to third. Your personal data will be deleted after your journey is over.

Our Airport Transfer Service may take up to 3 people from the airport lobby to our holiday apartments for a pre arranged fixed price of 24,- euro in one direction. 4-11 guests could be taken to their apartment for additional 9,- euro each.

For this service we will have to obtain information about your flight N° and landing time. These informations are required, because Budapest has two different airports in 5 km distance of one another. The drive to your apartment in the Center of Budapest may take at least 30 minutes, depending on traffic situation.

We offer WiFi in this apartment for 10 Euro pro week.

Visiting worth places in the neighboring area

Die gesamte Innenstadt von Budapest, je nach Ziel liegt vor Ihren Füßen in dieser äußerst zentralen Ferienwohnung, so z.B.:

Das Parlament (Bild links) und die Basilika (Bild rechts) sind beide gleich hoch und mit einer Spitzenhöhe von 96 Meter die höchsten Gebäude in Budapest.

Die große Basilika befindet sich ca. 600 Meter entfernt von dieser Wohnung.

Das Parlament erreicht man am besten mit der U-Bahn vom Blaha Lujza tér Platz - Ausstieg: Haltestelle " Kossuth Lajos tér" Platz. Sonntags gibt es Parlamentführungen, sofern keine Sitzung stattfindet.

Das Evangelisch-Lutheranische Landesmuseum befindet sich am Deák tér Platz ca. 500 Meter entfernt, am besten fährt man dorthin mit der U-Bahnlinie 3 vom Blaha Lujza tér Platz (2 kurze Haltestellen).

Die Große Synagoge, das Jüdische Museum, das Holocoust Denkmal und die Tora- und Talmudschule sind direkt benachbart. Budapest ist der einzige Ort in Europa, wo eine Rabbinerausbildung stattfindet.

Mit ihren 3000 Plätzen ist diese Synagoge in Europa die größte, weltweit die zweitgrößte Synagoge hinter New York. Mit dem Bau dieser Synagoge wurde 1854 begonnen, sie war lange Zeit die größte Synagoge der Welt - gebaut in romantischem Stil für die damals aus 30.000 Personen bestehende jüdische Gemeinde von Budapest, die zum größten Teil in dieser Umgebung wohnte. Die riesige Halle - die zur Zeit des Baus als besondere Neuheit galt - wird von schmiedeeisernen Pfeilern und Bögen getragen. In unmittelbarer Nähe befindet sich das Jüdische Museum. Neben dem Hauptgebäude ist das mit Arkaden umgebene Mausoleum und die Kirche der Tausenden von jüdischen Opfern zu sehen, die während des 2. Weltkrieges und im Ghetto während der deutschen Belagerung starben. Im Hinterhof der Synagoge befindet sich ein Holocaust-Denkmal, der sog. Baum des Lebens, der auf die Initiative des Schauspielers Tony Curtis (geb. Bernard Schwartz) errichtet wurde. Er ist zwar in den USA geboren, seine Familie aus dem östlichen Ungarn lebte vor der Auswanderung in diesem jüdischen Viertel. Tony spricht perfekt Ungarisch und fühlt sich eigenen Angaben zufolge hier am besten.

Unweit von hier befindet sich der Klauzál tér Platz, das Zentrum des jüdischen Stadtviertels. Dort gibt es zahlreiche jüdische Kneipen, Gaststätten, Koscher-Läden, eine koschere Destillerie und die berühmte Jugendstil-Markthalle. Eine kurze Ecke weiter in der Dob utca Strasse befindet sich unser Tipp: ein Spitzenrestaurant im "Fészek Klub", wo für gutbürgerliche Preise neben koscheren Speisen zahlreiche Landesspezialitätän serviert werden. In der herrlichen Ambiente des Sommergartens wird wunderschöne Musik gespielt - oft von einer Live-Kapelle. Es ist hin und wieder eine angenehme Überraschung, wenn hier deutsche Chorreisegruppen gelegentlich den Abend - z.B. mit einigen Liedern von Beethoven aufheitern.

Das Heilbad Gellért (links) erreicht man mit den Straßenbahnlinien 47 und 49 - aussteigen je nach Einstieg, nach 3 oder 4 Stationen direkt am Donauufer, auf der anderen, westlichen Donauseite in Buda.

Das Heilbad Széchenyi (rechts) erreicht man mit der U-Bahnlinie 1 (gelbe Millennium Metrolinie), Einsteigen am Deák tér Platz, Ausstieg: Haltestelle "Széchenyifürdő".

Zum Sportmuseum und Ferenc Puskás Fußballstadion (vor kurzem hieß es noch Volksstadion) fährt man vor dem Haus mit der Oberleitungsbuslinie Nr. 79 in Fahrtrichtung Stadtwäldchen los und steigt direkt vor dem Stadion aus, an der Haltestelle: "Ferenc Puskás Stadion".
